About Jonah Retin
I'm Jonah Retin, a Cinema and Television Production professional with 9 years of combined experience in short films, commercials, music videos, and digital content. Over the past several years, I've worked on sets with companies like Kondor Blue, Craterr, and Pixel Playhouse, contributing as a Camera Operator, Gaffer, Key Grip, and Production Assistant.
I'm skilled with Sony, Canon, ARRI, and Blackmagic cameras, as well as grip and electric setups, and I enjoy designing and executing lighting that enhances storytelling. My work has taken me from branded commercials and music videos to narrative projects, where I've built a reputation for being reliable, collaborative, and detail-oriented on set.
In addition to production, I bring strong post-production awareness with tools like DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro, giving me a complete understanding of how visuals move from capture to final delivery. With a B.A. in Cinema and Television Arts from CSUN, I'm passionate about growing as both a creative and technical filmmaker and contributing to projects that inspire and connect with audiences.
